One Important Thing is a habit tracking app built with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or share your personal data.
All your habit data, completions, and preferences are stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to our servers because we do not operate any servers.
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat processes purchase transactions through Apple and may receive an anonymous identifier to manage your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personal information from our app. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Home screen and lock screen widgets read habit data from a shared on-device storage area (App Group). This data never leaves your device.
You can export your habit data as CSV or JSON from within the app. Exported files are saved locally to your device. We have no access to these files.
You can delete all your data at any time from Settings > Reset All Data within the app. Since no data is stored remotely, deletion is immediate and permanent.
Our app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no data from any user, this applies universally.
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated effective date.
